Bad Behaviors To Avoid When Using Counter Strike Source Hacks In CS
When you use hacks in CS, no matter what version you’re playing, you’ll have to watch your back. You’re essentially competing at a huge upper hand and every player you’re trashing to the ugliest depths of hell on the other side of their client machines will want to expose you.
As such, you’ll need to avoid behaviors that can clue in opponents and various observers of what you’re doing. Many novice hack users make common mistakes that are easy tell-tales of someone using cheats to win their way in the game. Avoid these giveaway behaviors that can easily get you accused of using hacks, found out and eventually banned from online play.
Killing everyone with one shot
When you set your aimbot on slave and let it loose upon the battlefield, chances are, it’s going to go on a rampage with every shot accurately (not to mention suspiciously) hitting its mark. There’s no faster way to have people conclude there’s a hack equipping your players than setting your aimbots to aim and gun down on automatic.
Shooting through walls
Just because your hack lets you shoot through walls, it doesn’t mean you should use it. An observer in the opposing team with a keen eye can easily notice your bullet magically penetrating otherwise impenetrable barriers and have you flagged instantly.
Keeping your hitbox aimed at a single body part
Headshots are potent, everybody knows that. Why be so foolish though as to play an entire round taking nothing but accurate, pinpoint shots between the eyes? While some well-known players can probably get away with such skill, chances are it’s not you. Play smarter instead and vary your hitbox by taking out the occasional limb and taking less lethal body shots.
Getting out of shellshock too fast
If you continually shrug off the supposed stun effects from flashbangs, grenades and other explosives, it’s quite easy to figure out you’ve got a No Flash hack running. Most stun effects usually work for at a good five seconds so acting like you’re affected for at least a couple of ticks can be enough to make it seem like you’re playing fair.
Having too wide of an FOV
When you’re using an aimbot, make sure to set it with a reasonable field of view (FOV). Suddenly turning around with an ultra-fast accurate aim just doesn’t make sense, unless you’ve got a teammate coaching you where enemies are. Even then, getting the opponent accurately on your crosshairs usually won’t be that fast. While reducing your aimbot’s FOV will take away killing opportunities, it will ensure longevity of use.
Being an idiot
It goes without saying that you should avoid clear and obvious hacks, particularly classic cheats like invisibility, God-mode, excessive jumping abilities, infinite ammunition and the like. Not only are people so familiarly sick of them, there’s little in the way of hiding their use. How the hell will you explain not needing to reload after unloading an entire factory’s worth of ammunition on an opposing team? Only an idiot would use them during competitive play - don’t be one.
